Have you already tried a galette au sarrasin? A galette au sarasin is a traditional buckwheat pancake from the north of France, which is just perfect for any savoury filling. It matches to perfection with a glass of cider for you and apple juice for the little ones.

You just need to add a few basic ingredients and you will be flipping galettes au sarasin in front of your amazed children in no time ;-)

Ingredients to be added: 70g butter, ½ litre water, 3 eggs

Composition: Buckwheat flour*, T80 wheat flour*, Ré Island salt.

Tips:

  • Enjoy with sauteed leeks, smoked salmon and cream cheese

Instruction of use:

  1. Pour the contents of the baking mix into a large bowl.
  2. Set aside for 30 minutes.
  3. Add the melted butter, water and eggs and mix with a whisk to combine.
  4. In a frying pan, cook the galettes on both sides until golden brown. Bon appétit!
